My whole body's killing me from snowboarding yesterday.
I took two and a half hour private lesson.
I've learned carving, twisting, jumping and railing.
I did well for the most part until my last jump.
I carried way too much speed and air for my ability.
I end up landing over my rip cage pretty hard.
I've never seen bruises on my belly before.

My new job's trial week starts next Monday.
I like the people and the company.
I really hope I get the job.

I started a new book "A Long Way Gone" by Ishmael Beah today.
It's about boy soldiers in Africa.

Just goofed around with the camera's digital micro function.

I LOVE her feet.

She covers her eyes when the light's on.

Gonz's going away party 01.26.08

Gonz's going to Iraq for a few months as a contractor.
He's flying out to Vegas for training, then off to Iraq.
He'll be back by the Summer, but everybody wanted to throw him a big party.

Big bonfire.
Lots of leftover Christmas trees, gas and some other stuff I don't know.
They tried to set the fire by shooting fireworks.
Later fire truck showed up.

Fogo De Chao 01.25.08

Dinner at Fogo De Chao.
First time been back since my last birthday.
It was a huge dinner with 24 people who are from local motorcycle forum.

I ate so much that couldn't go to bed til 4AM.
Took me a week to even think about beef again.
